News Watch Joshua Henry Perform a Jamaican-Inspired Cover of “Dear Theodosia” On a break from rehearsing the Chicago production of Hamilton, Henry offered an acoustic cover of “Dear Theodosia.”

Two-time Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry (Violet, The Scottsboro Boys), who will lead the Chicago company of Hamilton as Aaron Burr, performed a Jamaican-inspired cover of “Dear Theodosia” from the megahit musical.

“Back to my Jamaican roots in today’s Hamilton: An American Musical #10MinuteBreakSessions,” he posted with the below clip, also featuring Ari Afsar (Eliza Hamilton), Samantha Marie Ware (Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds) and Chris Lee (Marquis De Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson).
