Second Stage Theater offers a glimpse of its world-premiere production in the video above, which features Baldwin, who stars as Charlotte, performing Tom Kitt’s “What's Happening to My Boy?.” Broadway favorite Baldwin is accompanied on piano by composer-lyricist Kitt.

Superhero, directed by Jason Moore, began performances January 31 in 2ST's Tony Kiser Theater.

The cast also features newcomer Kyle McArthur as Simon, Tony nominee Bryce Pinkham as Jim, Julia Abueva (KPOP) as Rachel, newcomer Jake Levy as Dwayne, Salena Qureshi (Madam Secretary) as Vee, Thom Sesma, recently seen Off-Broadway in the critically acclaimed immersive Sweeney Todd, as Vic, and Nathaniel Stampley (The Color Purple) as Dean Fulton.

Superhero unites Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Kitt (Next to Normal) and Tony-winning writer John Logan (Red), who together tell a new story about a fractured family, a mysterious stranger in apartment 4-B, and an unexpected hero.
