Following an acclaimed Off-Broadway run, The Good Chance Theatre, National Theatre, and Young Vic production of The Jungle will debut on the West Coast in a limited engagement at San Francisco's Curran this month. In anticipation of the premiere, the theatre has released a first-look trailer—check it out above.

The Jungle is written by Joe Murphy and Joe Robertson and directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin. The immersive staging, also previously seen at the Young Vic and in the West End, invites audiences into the now-closed refugee camp in Calais, France, known as the Jungle—where thousands of refugees from Africa and the Middle East built a society while they waited for their “good chance” passage to Britain.

The Jungle will run March 26–May 19 at The Curran.

The cast—largely made up of performers from the New York run at St. Ann's Warehouse—includes Moe Bar-El, Lorraine Bruce, Alexander Devrient, Ammar Haj Ahmad, Tommy Letts, Catherine Luedtke, Trevor Fox, Yasin Moradi, Jonathan Nyati, John Pfumojena, Zara Rasti, Rachel Redford, Ibrahim Renno, Dominic Rowan, Rachid Sabitri, Mohamed Sarrar, Milan Tajmiri, Bisserat Tseggai, Ben Turner, Nahel Tzegai, Tim Wright, and Khaled Zahabi.

The Curran's run of The Jungle is also produced by Carole Shorenstein Hays and Sonia Friedman Productions with Tom Kirdahy.

The creative team is rounded out by Miriam Buether (sets), Catherine Kodicek (costumes), Jon Clark (lighting), Paul Arditti (sound), John Pfumojena (original compositions), Duncan McLean and Tristan Shepherd (video design), and Julia Horan CGD (casting).
