The trailer for the screen adaptation of André Aciman’s acclaimed 2007 novel Call Me by Your Name, which chronicles the relationship between two young men over the course of a summer in Italy, has been released.
Timothée Chalamet, who won the 2016 Lucille Lortel Award for his performance in John Patrick Shanley’s Prodigal Son, stars as Elio, a 17-year-old American boy who falls in love with Oliver, a 24-year-old academic who stays with his family during their time in Italy. Armie Hammer stars as Oliver in a cast that also includes Michael Stuhlbarg.

Luca Guadagnino, the filmmaker of I Am Love, directs the picture that was praised during its Sundance premiere last winter. The film will be released November 24.
