The NYPD and the Times Square Business Improvement District (TS-BID) have issued to following weekend traffic alert for the theatre district. Sat., Aug. 19:
From 1 AM - 6 PM, Seventh Avenue will be closed between W. 47 St. and W. 57 St.
On Sat., Aug. 19 and/or Sun. Aug. 20: From 8 AM - 6 PM, on W. 42 St., between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, one lane in each direction will be maintained during crane operations.
From 8 AM - 6 PM, W. 45 St. between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue will be closed during crane operations.
Local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.
