Simon Stephens’ On the Shore of the Wide World officially opened September 12 Off-Broadway, marking the New York premiere of the Olivier Award-winning play. The newest work from The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time playwright explores themes of love, family, and the size of the galaxy.

Performances of On the Shore of the Wide World began Off-Broadway August 23 at Atlantic Theater Company.

Neil Pepe directs a cast made up of Tony Award winner Blair Brown (Copenhagen), Odiseas Georgiadis (All We Had), Peter Maloney (Dying For It), Mary McCann (Bluebird, Harper Regan), LeRoy McClain (Cymbeline), Tedra Millan (Present Laughter), Ben Rosenfield (Twin Peaks; Love, Love, Love), Wesley Zurick (Off-Broadway debut), C.J. Wilson (Hold on to Me Darling), and Amelia Workman (The Layover).
