"I just want to see them together!" she told Playbill.com following the nominations announcement. "I think it's an amazing combination. They're both so incredibly talented and brilliant, and they're so different, I think it's going to be interesting to see how they interact."

Parker, a Tony Award winner for her performance in Proof, will return to the stage next month for Manhattan Theatre Club's world-premiere production of Heisenberg, a new play by Simon Stephens (who was Tony-nominated this morning for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time).
What could she tease about the new show? "It's incredibly short, and there's no intermission, so I think people who have a short attention span will really enjoy it," she said. "But, it's one of the most beautifully written plays I've read in a very, very long time. Simon Stephens — he is pretty remarkable and intelligent, and it's a lovely, lovely play. I saw [Curious Incident] twice. I loved it."
She made the announcement alongside Bruce Willis, who will make his Broadway debut next season in Misery, a new play written by Academy Award winner William Goldman that is based on the acclaimed novel by Stephen King.
Of the play, Willis said, "William Goldman wrote a really terrific script, and I read for it with Elizabeth [Marvel, who will co-star], and they were pleased. They said, 'What do you think?' And, I said, 'I think I would like to do this play.' Elizabeth was already in."
