News Wicked's Clark to Celebrate New Solo Recording with Concert Dates Merideth Kaye Clark, who spent two years as the standby for the role of Elphaba in the first national tour of Wicked, will release her debut solo recording later this month.

Entitled "Young Stellar Object," the folk-pop album, which "channels [Clark's] unique experience of a life being lived on the road," will be available for digital download at iTunes, Amazon and meridethkayeclark.com beginning July 20.

Song titles include "Beautiful Silence," "Trip to the Moon," "Stars," "Dawn" and "Shine On." The recording was produced, engineered and mixed by Ricky Marson.

To celebrate her new recording, Clark will offer several concert dates, which follow:

July 26: New York, NY, at Googie's above the Living Room

Aug. 8: Kansas City, MO, at The Brick

Aug. 11: Kansas City, MO, at The Record Bar

Aug. 20: Atlanta, GA, at The Atlanta Room at Smith's Olde Bar

Aug. 22: Nashville, TN at The Rutledge
