The 7 PM concert at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre will celebrate the work of three new composers: Neil Bartram, Barbara Anselmi and Scott Alan. Alan, who also produces the series, said in a statement, "I have been a huge advocate of new talent in New York City, and furthermore, I have been a huge advocate of new writers. The New Voices program has given many new writers, as well as new voices, a place to showcase their work. I have been a huge fan of both Barbara and Neil’s work for some time now, and feel humbled to not only be honoring their talents at a New Voices concert, but joining them on stage as well." In addition to Block and Espinosa, the evening will also feature the talents of Jeffrey Kuhn, Sebastion Arcelus, Jill Abramovitz, Christopher J. Hanke, Mamie Parris, Lisa Brescia and Alysha Umpress.

The New Voices series spotlights "lesser-known talents working in New York.”

The Duplex is located in Manhattan at 61 Christopher Street. There is a $10 cover charge and a two-drink minimum; call (212) 255-5438 for reservations. Visit www.theduplex.com for more information.
