News Wicked's Menzel to Resume Concert Tour Oct. 30 Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, who played several concert dates around the country this past summer, will resume her tour Oct. 30 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH.

The tour celebrates the release of her latest solo recording, "I Stand." During her summer tour, Menzel was accompanied by Joe Kennedy on keyboards, Simon Smith on bass, Jimmy Paxson on drums, Emerson Swinford on guitar and Holly Palmer on acoustic guitar with back-up vocals by Palmer and Fannie Bell Johnson.

Menzel's current concert itinerary, according to her official website, follows:

Oct. 31 at the Bomhard Theatre in Louisville, KY
Nov. 2 at the Union Theatre in Madison, WI
Nov. 3 at the CFA at University of Wisconsin in Platteville, WI
Nov. 5 at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI
Nov. 7 at Music Hall Theatre in Toronto, Canada
Nov. 8 at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA
Nov. 9 at the Wilkins Theatre in Union, NJ
Nov. 11 at the Klein in Bridgeport, CT
Nov. 12 at the Byham Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA
Nov. 13 at the Empire Center at The Egg in Albany, NY

Menzel won a Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Elphaba in Wicked; she also opened the London production of that hit musical. Menzel created the role of Maureen in the original Broadway company of Rent, and her other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Hair, Manhattan Theatre Club's The Wild Party, the Public Theater's See What I Wanna See and the benefit Funny Girl concert. Menzel's film credits include "Ask the Dust," "Rent" and "Enchanted."
