William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman team up in Anne Nelson’s Sept. 11 drama The Guys at the Actor’s Gang in Los Angeles. The married couple, he an Oscar nominee and she a TV vet, perform Nov. 26-Dec. 21.
Macy, who plays a fire chief, attempting to write the obituaries for his men lost in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade center, was nominated for an Academy Award for "Fargo." Theatrically, he is well known for his teaching and acting work with playwright-director David Mamet, also appearing in Mamet's films "State and Main" and "Oleanna." Other credits include "Boogie Nights," "Magnolia," "Mystery Men," "Pleasantville" and "Jurassic Park III."
Huffman starred on "Sports Night," a critical hit series for ABC that has recently been released on DVD. She plays the editor who seeks to help Macy's fire chief with his heart-rending task.
