News Williamstown Announces Complete Casts for The Importance of Being Earnest and The Blue Deep The Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced complete casting for The Importance of Being Earnest with Tyne Daly and The Blue Deep starring Blythe Danner.

As previously reported, Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by David Hyde Pierce, will run June 26-July 14.

Daly (Master Class) will star as Lady Bracknell in a cast that also includes Marylouise Burke (Fuddy Meers) as Miss Prism, Louis Cancelmi (Blasted) as Algernon Moncrieff, Helen Rita Cespedes as Cecily Cardew, Sean Cullen (South Pacific) as Lane, Glenn Fitzgerald ("The Sixth Sense") as Jack Worthing, Paul Anthony McGrane as Merriman, Amy Spanger (Elf, Rock of Ages) as Gwendolyn Fairfax, Henry Stram (R Shomon) as Chasuble, with Charlotte Bydwell, Julian Cihi, Alexander Seife and Ariana Seigel.

The designers for Earnest include Allen Moyer (scenic design), Ben Stanton (lighting design), Michael Krass (costume Ddesign) and Jill BC Du Boff (sound design).

Bob Balaban stages the world premiere of Lucy Boyle's The Blue Deep, running June 27-July 8.

Danner (Butterflies Are Free, Follies) is joined by Becky Ann Baker (Our Town, Merrily We Roll Along), Jack Gilpin (Design for Living), Heather Lind ("Boardwalk Empire) and Finn Wittrock (Death of a Salesman).

Blue Deep designers include Takeshi Kata and Andrew Boyce (scenic design), Matthew Richards (lighting design), Mimi O'Donnell (costume design) and John Gromada (sound design and composer).
