Adam Chanler-Berat (Next to Normal, Peter and the Starcatcher) leads the cast as documentary filmmaker Mark Cohen. The Off-Broadway production also stars Annaleigh Ashford (Wicked) as Maureen Johnson; Nicholas Christopher as Tom Collins; Arianda Fernandez as Mimi Marquez; Corbin Reid as Joanne Jefferson; Michael Rodriguez as Angel Schunard; Matt Shingledecker as Roger Davis; Ephraim Sykes as Benjamin Coffin III.

The newly conceived production, directed by original Tony-nominated director Michael Greif, features new costumes, choreography, projection design and a new set. Rent officially opened Aug. 11 at New World Stages.
