Hairspray cares about AIDS and health issues affecting the Broadway community and they're going to prove it Nov. 10 with an evening of eclectic material entitled Hair Cares. Marissa Jaret Winokur will host the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS benefit at Le Bar Bat, which will feature performances from her fellow castmates Harvey Fierstein, Kerry Butler, Linda Hart, Dick Latessa and Mathew Morrison. Cast member Shoshana Bean conceived and will direct this combination of original music and variety performance to be produced by Forrest Mallard. Bean will also sing as will Hairspray ensemble members Adam Fleming, Katy Grenfell, John Hill, Kamilah Martin, Rashad Naylor, Peter Matthew Smith and Shayna Steele.

Tickets are $30 for "Hair-Hoppers" and $150 for "Council Members." The latter will also receive admission to a pre-show party, best seating in the house, a gift bag and a photo op with the cast.
