Running Dec. 1-11, the festival of cabaret, classical music, jazz and theatre will launch with an evening dedicated to Mabel Merder Foundation founder Donald Smith.

Scheduled to appear for the Dec. 1 7 PM opening-night event are Klea Blackhurst, Jeff Harnar, Valerie Lemon, Colleen McHugh, Karen Oberlin, Georgia Osborne and T. Oliver Reid.

Hightlights also include Karen Oberlin (Dec. 2 at 7 PM); Jennifer Sheehan (Dec. 2 at 9 PM); Sweeney Todd's original Johanna, Sarah Rice (Dec. 3 at 5 PM); classical pianist Steven Cantor (Dec. 4 at 5 PM), Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper (Dec. 4 at 7 PM); jazz musician Sean Hagerty (Dec. 4 at 9 PM); and Jaqcues Brel star Gay Marshall (Dec. 5 at 7 PM).

Additional performances include I Hate Music: The Songs and Music of Glen Roven with Lauren Flanigan, The Broadway Youth Ensemble, Broadway performers Jeff McCarthy, Donna Lynne Champlin, Luba Mason, Nikolas King and noted opera singers Benjamin Perry Wenzelberg, Matthew Garrett and Christopher Herbert (Dec. 5 at 9 PM).

Also planned is Janice Hall in I’d Rather Be Doing This (Dec. 6 at 7 PM); guitarist Sean Harkness (Dec. 6 at 9 PM); Barry Levitt’s Jazz Jam (Dec. 7 at 7 PM); Daryl Glenn and Ricky Ritzel in A Ritzmas Daryl with Alison Nussbaum (Dec. 8 at 7 PM); an evening of music by Richard Eisenberg and Scott Evan Davis (Dec. 9 at 9 PM); Gretchen Reinhagen in Both Sides Now (Dec. 10 at 7 PM); Tanya Holt (Dec. 10 at 9 PM); and a final benefit evening with Steve Ross (Dec. 11 at 5 PM). Winter Rythms will also stage All in Good Time: The Songs of Barry Levitt and Peter Napolitano, with Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli, Julie Reyburn, Susan Winter, Barbara Porteus, Helena Grenot, Deb Berman, Rob Langeder, Stacie Perlman, Janice Hall, Joshua Dixon, Fran Leonardis and Gary Crawford (Dec. 9 at 7 PM).
