News Wolf Trap Summer Season Will Include Sarah Brightman, Matthew Morrison and Beauty and the Beast Wolf Trap has announced programming for its summer 2014 season.

Of interest to theatre fans is a staging of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, which will play the Virginia venue June 6-8. Based on the 1991 Academy Award-winning animated feature film of the same name, Beauty and the Beast premiered on Broadway in 1994, where it was nominated for nine Tony Awards and ran for 13 years.

International recording artist Sarah Brightman, who was seen on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera and Aspects of Love, will offer a concert Aug. 17 at 8 PM. Other headliners include Diana Ross (June 29 at 8 PM), Matthew Morrison with the National Symphony Orchestra (July 10 at 8:15 PM) and Josh Groban (Aug. 19-20 at 8 PM).

Sing-a-long versions of Grease and Sound of Music will be offered June 21 at 8:30 PM and Aug. 23 at 7:15 PM, respectively.
