News Women's Project Names Julie Crosby New Managing Director The Women’s Project, the Off-Broadway, not-for-profit dedicated to the advancement of women in theatre, has appointed Julie Crosby as its new managing director.

Crosby has 15 years experience as a senior business manager of Broadway, Off-Broadway and international touring productions. Her credits include On Golden Pond, The Good Body, Laurie Anderson's Songs & Stories From Moby Dick, and Black and Blue. In 2002 she received her doctorate in comparative drama from Columbia University. “Julie Crosby brings energy and vision to the Women's Project. It is thrilling to have a managing director who is as daring about show business as I am about shows,” said producing artistic director Loretta Greco in a prepared statement. “I look forward to working closely with her to continue to grow and develop the company.”

Women’s Project’s 2005-2006 season features Jump/Cut by Neena Beber, The Cataract by Lisa D’Amour and Cradle of Man by Melanie Marnich.
