Aug. 25: Close-harmony girl groups of the 1950s and early 1960s were the inspiration for the Off-Broadway musical The Marvelous Wonderettes, which is about to celebrate its first anniversary at the Westside Theatre. The entire current four-member cast (Kirsten Bracken, Misty Cotton, Christina DeCicco and Lindsay Mendez) is in the Playbill Radio studio this week, to explain what's really going on in the show, to recall their own prom nights, and to do live-in theatre performances of three classic songs from the show.
