News Wopat, Merkerson, Plimpton, Tomei, Cannavale and More Set for MTC Benefit Manhattan Theatre Club's Annual Spring Gala will be presented at the New York Hilton May 19.

The evening will boast performances from A Catered Affair's Tom Wopat and Young Frankenstein's Megan Mullally as well as from the casts of Cry-Baby, Gypsy, Jump, In the Heights and The Little Mermaid. Actors who have been part of the current MTC season — including S. Epatha Merkerson (Come Back, Little Sheba), Martha Plimpton (Top Girls), Marisa Tomei (Top Girls), Julie White (From Up Here) and Bobby Cannavale (Mauritius) — will also make special appearances.

Proceeds from the event, including money raised from a silent auction, will benefit MTC's play and musical theatre development programs and its educational outreach programs.

The evening will begin with cocktails and the silent auction at 7 PM followed by dinner at 8 PM and the performance at 9:15 PM.
