The program premieres on CUNY TV at 5 PM with additional broadcasts scheduled for Feb. 6 at 9 AM, 2 PM and 7:30 PM, and Feb. 7 at 11 AM. The program will become available as streaming audio and podcast from americantheatrewing.org beginning Feb. 4. The broadcast features interviews with award-winning theatre veterans Philip Bosco, John Cullum, Marian Seldes and Carole Shelley. Variety's Gordon Cox moderates.
The foursome, according to press notes, "discuss the breaks that got each of their careers started; how they handle the situation on stage when they – or their co-stars – forget their lines; how they feel about serving as understudies; the audition process; their successes and failures; and they [will] share stories of working with such other legends as Sir John Gielgud, Joseph Papp, Morris Carnovsky, Lee J. Cobb, George C. Scott, Geraldine Page, George Cukor, Myron McCormick and Ruth Gordon."
The program also includes a short tribute to the late Robert Prosky. Gail Yancosek produces.
