News   World Premiere of Idaho! to Play Additional NYMF Performance Oct. 1
Buddy Sheffield and Keith Thompson's bawdy musical Idaho! has added an additional performance to its NYMF run at 37 Arts Theatre.

With select performances sold out, producers have announced that Idaho! will play an additional performance Oct. 1 at 1 PM. Performances began Sept. 25 and continue through Oct. 9 at 37 Arts.

The cast for Idaho! features Rob Sutton (Mamma Mia! in Las Vegas) Elena Shaddow (Light in the Piazza), Beth Curry (Legally Blonde), Stacy Todd Holt (Cry-Baby), Bill Nolte (The Producers), Jennifer Perry (Mamma Mia! in Las Vegas), Jay Rogers (The New Century), Ramona Keller (Caroline, or Change), James Tabeek (Taboo), Blake Hammond (Hairspray), Robbie Roby (Hairspray), Wendy Fox (Rent), Joe Grandy (Sound of Music, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma), Jessica Hershberg (Beauty and the Beast at MUNY), Holly Holcomb (Of Thee I Sing), Daniel Frank Kelley (Parade tour) and Jessica Sheridan (Les Miserables).

Matt Lenz directs the world premiere NYMF production that has choreography by Michele Lynch. With book, music and lyrics by Buddy Sheffield and music by Keith Thompson, Idaho! "is a tale of love and sex on the prairie baked to bawdy perfection and set during the 'Golden era' of Broadway. From a land where men were men, women were for sale to the highest bidder and the laws of musical comedy were meant to be broken, Idaho! is an original 'high-steppin' song and dance musical ripped from the earth like a fresh dug spud."

The creative team also includes musical director Christopher Littlefield, set designer Charlie Smith, lighting designer Julie Duro, costume designer Linda Fisher and sound designer Lew Mead.
