News York Theatre Company to Present Musical Conversations Series The York Theatre Company has begun a new Sunday-night series that will explore the world of musical theatre, both past and present.

Entitled Musical Conversations, the new series will be hosted by John Kenrick, a musical theatre lover who created Musicals101.com. The series will kick off Feb. 26 at 7 PM with "How Musicals Are Made" and will examine the process of turning an idea into a Broadway musical. "The Musicals of Jule Styne" is the title of the March 5 evening, also at 7 PM. That conversation will focus on Styne's journey from child prodigy pianist to composer of such Broadway classics as Gypsy and Funny Girl. Tickets for the Musical Conversations series are priced $10 each. Those attending the 3 PM performance of Fanny Hill on Feb. 26 or March 5 can be admitted free of charge by showing their ticket stub.
