Under Fire, which features book and lyrics by Barry Harman and music by Grant Sturiale will be presented Sept. 18 at 7:30 PM. Based on the film of the same name, the musical is described as such: "Set in a Central American country where local rebels fight to unseat a brutal dictator, Under Fire combines romance, revolution and a rousing Latin score. Three American reporters grapple with the issue of personal responsibility in times of war, facing up to the difficult decisions good men are forced to make...under fire." Dillinger, which was penned by Paul Aleman (score) and Joel Gross (book), will be offered Sept. 20 at 7:30 PM. "Jimmy Morgan, a young reporter in Depression-era Chicago," press notes state, "goes undercover with John Dillinger, the iconic gangster, and succumbs to his corrupting influence. Attracted and repelled by Dillinger, Jimmy finds himself lost between two worlds, moral bearings unglued, ambition leading him into fatal compromise. Worse, Jimmy falls in love with Dillinger's girl, Polly, never realizing that it is Dillinger himself who is pulling the strings of their love triangle; all part of the gangster's plan to use Jimmy's life as a ticket to freedom."
