News Young Frankenstein's Bart to Host International Emmy Awards Tony Award winner Roger Bart, who currently heads the cast of Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, will host the International Emmy Awards, according to a press release issued by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The 36th International Emmy Awards Gala will be held in Manhattan Nov. 24. Sam Waterston and Jeff Goldblum will present "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf with the International Emmy Founders Award during the ceremony.

Other presenters currently scheduled include Willie Garson, John Waters, Paul Blackthorne, Andrea Roth, Heather Tom, Kerry O'Malley and Cecilia Suarez.

The International Emmy Awards "recognize excellence in television programming produced outside of the United States."

Roger Bart, a 1999 Tony Award winner for You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, currently stars in the title role of Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein. His stage credits also include The Producers, Triumph of Love, The Frogs, King David and Big River. On screen Bart has appeared in "The Stepford Wives," "American Gangster," the film adaptation of The Producers, and as a series regular on "Desperate Housewives."
