The Tony Awards Management Committee, which features representatives of the League and the Wing, "oversees the Tony Awards, with emphasis on the television broadcast," according to the Tony Awards website. The 2008-2009 members include Ted Chapin, Sondra Gilman, Ron Konecky, Doug Leeds, Paul Libin, Margo Lion, Michael Price, Jane Safer, Charlotte St. Martin, Nick Scandalios, Howard Sherman, Tom Viertel, Bob Wankel, Barry Weissler and Scott Zeiger.
The Tony Awards Administration Committee, which meets several times each season to discuss the eligibility of Broadway productions, comprises 24 members: ten designated by the Wing, ten by the League, and one each by the Dramatists Guild, Actors' Equity Association, United Scenic Artists and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.

The 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards will be presented at Radio City Music Hall June 7, 2009. CBS-TV will broadcast the event live.
