Created, directed and choreographed by Marion J. Caffey, the show is double-cast "due to the extraordinary vocal demands of the production." The six actresses who star in the D.C. production include Tony Award winner Gretha Boston (Show Boat), Andrea Jones-Sojola, N'Kenge, Nina Negri, Jamet Pittman and Vivian Reed.
"It's not just three divas, it's actually six incredible divas for an eight-show week," said Arena Stage artistic director Molly Smith.

The creative team also includes Joseph Joubert (musical supervisor/orchestrator/arranger), e'Marcus Harper (musical director/arranger), Dale F. Jordan (set designer), Toni-Leslie James (costume designer) and Richard Winkler (lighting designer).
