News Abrons' Three Travelers to Make New York Debut Jan. 13 Richard Abrons' satire Three Travelers will be presented by the New Federal Theatre beginning Jan. 13, 2008.

Jay Broad will stage Abron's work, which centers on "three jaded western tourists (a corporate whiz, his uptight wife and their free-spirited British friend) [who] search for answers to their discontent by seeking wisdom in India from a world-famous, deceptively irreverent Guru," according to press notes.

Set for the cast are Judith Lightfoot Clark, Kenneth Maharaj, Kathleen McNenny and Stephen Schnetzer.

The Three Travelers creative team includes Don Llewellyn (set design), Karen Perry (costume design), David F. Segal (lighting design) and Sean O'Halloran (sound design). The production is produced by New Federal Theatre founding and producing director Woodie King, Jr.

Richard Abrons' works include Whose Family Values!, Every Day a Visitor and The Brothers Berg. Three Travelers premiered in Los Angeles in 2005.

Three Travelers begins performances Jan. 13 with an official opening set for Jan. 24 at the Theatre at St. Clements. Tickets are available by calling (212) 279-4200 or by visiting www.ticketcentral.com. The Theatre at St. Clements is located at 423 West 46th Street in Manhattan.
