News   Actors Fund Reschedules Benefit Performance of Book of Mormon for December

The Actors Fund announced Sept. 20 that the special benefit performance of the Tony-winning musical The Book of Mormon has been rescheduled for Dec. 7 at 1 PM.

Originally scheduled for Aug. 28, the performance was canceled following the shutdown of Broadway theatres during Hurricane Irene. Ticket buyers who purchased through The Actors Fund can either attend on the new date or request a full refund.

All proceeds from the performance will benefit The Actors Fund. The company of Mormon will donate their time and talent to raise funds for the entertainment charity.

The acclaimed musical plays the Eugene O’Neill Theatre, 230 West 49th Street. Premium seating for the benefit performance, including a post-show reception hosted by Brian Stokes Mitchell, is still available for $500. Premium seating without reception is $350; all other price levels are sold out.
