Directed by Terry Berliner (The Tale of the Allergist's Wife assistant director), the cast includes Adam David Thompson ("Martha Marcy May Marlene") and Libby Winters (American Idiot). Performances will continue through Aug. 25.
Here's how the work is described: "Kitt (Thompson), a world-renowned photographer, has spent his days globetrotting and on a quest to capture the perfect image. But in his years on the road, he has never been able to escape a haunting desire for his original muse, Nina (Winters). Back on location in New York City, with the urgency of the end of the world, Kitt seeks Nina out and shows up at her door. Deeply moving, funny and timely, The End of Days invites you to imagine what steps you might retrace if you only had this one last chance."
Other members of the creative team include David L. Arsenault (scenic design), Scott Westervelt (costume design), Paul Miller and Kirk Fitzgerald (lighting design) and Jackie Filer (production stage manager). Chris Eleftheriades produces.
The End of Days will have performances Aug. 15 at 5:30 PM, Aug. 19 at 7 PM, Aug. 21 at 8:45 PM, Aug. 22 at 7 PM and Aug. 25 at 5:15 PM.
