News Adam Pascal to Guest Star on CBS-TV's "Cold Case" Adam Pascal, recently seen reprising his role of Roger in the film of "Rent," will guest star on the April 2 episode of "Cold Case."

The episode of the CBS hit is entitled "Willkommen" and will air from 8-9 PM ET; check local listings. Andrea Newman penned the upcoming show, which was directed by Paris Barclay. The April 2 broadcast of "Cold Case," according to press notes, is described thusly: "In 2002, Dennis Hirschfelder (Pascal) joined a community theatre as a cabaret singer, but on opening night he never made it to the stage to 'break a leg.' Instead, he was shot to death directly outside the backstage door. His murder was considered one of several shootings and muggings committed by local robbers who were never caught, however, all evidence pointed to someone inside the theatre. Most of Dennis' theatre friends called it the greed-eyed monster that killed him and now Lilly and Jeffries begin their quest to catch a killer."

Adam Pascal was part of the final cast of Aida, playing the role he created several years ago, the ill-fated Radames. He also portrayed the Emcee in the now-closed revival of Cabaret. Pascal made his theatrical debut as Roger in the original cast of Jonathan Larson's Rent; for that performance, he received Theatre World and Obie awards as well as Tony and Drama Desk nominations. Pascal was a co-producer of the hit Off-Broadway play Fully Committed and appeared in the Actors' Fund benefit concerts of Chess and Hair. The actor was recently seen in the film version of "Rent."
