Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers comes to Toronto Feb 4 with a Gala opening. Produced by Atlantis, and directed by legendary Canadian Actor/Director/Producer Al Waxman, (best known in the U.S. as the Lieutenant in TV's "Cagney & Lacey") the show's venue is the Atlantis Complex at Ontario Place in Toronto. When interviewed recently by Theatre News, Waxman said that while Lost in Yonkers is, in true Neil Simon tradition, a comedy, it is also a love story. He believes that this production will bring this fact to the fore. Mr. Waxman will be honoured by the Government of Canada on February 26. when he will invested into the 'Order of Canada'.
Waxman is a proud Canadian who has been involved in the industry for more than 40 years. He has more than 90 film, TV, and theatre roles to his credit. Tickets for this limited run are available at TicketKing, (416) 872-1212.
