News Alec Baldwin, "South Park" and "Modern Family" Among Winners at First-Ever "Comedy Awards" Alec Baldwin took home the award for Best Comedy Actor in Television, Trey Parker and Matt Stone's "South Park" received the award for Animated Comedy Series, and "Modern Family" won the award for Best Comedy Series at the inaugural "Comedy Awards" on March 26, according to EW.com.

The awards ceremony, held at the Hammerstein Ballroom, will air on Comedy Central, Spike TV, TV Land, VH1, CMT, Logo and Nick At Nite April 10.

Other winners included actors Tina Fey and Zach Galifianakis for Best Comedy Actress and Actor in Film, Kristen Wiig for Best Comedy Actress in Television, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" for Best Late-Night Comedy Series, "Toy Story 3" for Animated Comedy Film and "The Other Guys" for Best Comedy Film.

Eddie Murphy accepted the Career Icon Award, and the Johnny Carson Award for Comedic Excellence was presented to David Letterman.
