News Alice Ripley and Jason Danieley to Join Louis Hobson at Joe's Pub Next to Normal cast member Louis Hobson will be joined by a host of special guests, including Tony-winning actress Alice Ripley, for his Nov. 10 concert at Joe's Pub.

Hobson has played the role of Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine in Next to Normal since the musical's pre-Broadway engagement at Arena Stage in 2008. He will take to the stage of Joe's Pub at 9:30 PM for an evening of music by his favorite songwriters. Laura Pietropinto will direct. Joining Hobson will be original Next to Normal cast members Ripley and Adam Chandler-Berat, who plays Henry. Also present will be current Broadway cast members Jason Danieley and Meghann Fahy, who portray Dan and Natalie, respectively.

Hobson has also appeared regionally in West Side Story, Miss Saigon, Evita, Hair, Cabaret, Stupid Kids and the world premiere of the Stephen Schwartz revue Snapshots. He has a working history with Washington state's Village Theatre, where Next to Normal writer Brian Yorkey served as associate artistic director.
