News Alvin, Wetherhead, Gwon and More Join Line-Up for NAMT Songwriter Spotlight Concert The songs of theatre writers Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days), Tommy Newman and Mark Allen ((Tinyard Hill, Band Geeks!) as well as those of Sean Mahoney and Creighton Irons (Factory Girls) will be heard in the NAMT Songwriter Spotlight concert at Birdland Sept. 7.

The 7 PM concert boasts a lineup of Broadway talent including the newly announced Farah Alvin (I Love You Because) and Kate Wetherhead (Legally Blonde), who join the previously reported Kate Baldwin (Finian's Rainbow), Josh Young (Les Miserables), Jenn Colella (High Fidelity), Wesley Taylor (Rock of Ages), Kerry O'Malley (Billy Elliot, American In Paris), Charlie Pollack (9 to 5), Sarah Stiles (Vanities) and Steve Rosen (Guys and Dolls). The evening will also showcase the work of David Kirshenbaum (Vanities, Summer of '42), Dan Lipton and David Rossmer (JOE! The Musical, "Don't Quit Your Night Job") and Brad Alexander and Adam Mathias (See Rock City & Other Destinations).
