Eno's play, which was written for Lovett, is a co-production between the Signature and Ireand's Gare St. Lazare Players. It premiered in summer 2011. Lovett's recent appearance with Gare St. Lazare Players was in the Irish production of Samuel Beckett's The End.

Judy Hegarty Lovett again directs the production that officially opens May 20 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre on West 42nd Street. Signature recently announced an additional 16 performances for the run.

Here's how the play is billed: "A nameless traveler from a far off place searches for connection and solace in an unknown country in this funny and sad meditation on mortality, loneliness, innocence, home, family, love, funerals, words, and the world."

Title and Deed has scenic design by Tony Award winner Christine Jones (Spring Awakening), costume design by Andrea Lauer and lighting design by Ben Stanton.

Eno's play Thom Pain (based on nothing) was a 2004 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Critics embraced his recent play Middletown, which debuted Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre in 2010. His latest work, The Realistic Joneses, debuted at the Yale Repertory Theatre this spring. His other plays include The Flu Season, Tragedy: a tragedy and Oh, The Humanity and other exclamations.
