News American Songbook Series Opens to Tesori's Page for March 5 Concert; Cooper, Breaker and More Sing Tony Award-nominated composer Jeanine Tesori is joined by Tony Award-winning actor Chuck Cooper and Tony nominee Daniel Breaker for a concert of her music March 5 at the Allen Room in Manhattan.

Tesori's 8:30 PM concert, part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, highlights work from her Tony-nominated musicals Caroline, or Change (which also earned an Olivier Award); Shrek the Musical; and Thoroughly Modern Millie; as well as Off-Broadway's Violet. In addition to Cooper, who appeared as the Bus in the original Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Caroline, and Breaker (Donkey in Broadway's Shrek), the evening features Assata Alston, Mikaela Cordasco, Derick K. Grant, David Greenspan, Marva Hicks, Jodi Katz, Ramona Keller, Mark Lotito, Michael McElroy, Greta Oglesby, Siena Rafter, Darcie Roberts, Mark Stewart, Valerie Wright and the Broadway Inspirational Voices.

Andrew Russell directs, with musical direction by Adam Ben-David, who will lead a 14-piece band.
