Entitled "Masters of the Stage," the Wing and SSDC intend to release four decades worth of archival material from the Society of Stage Directors Foundation that will be available in streaming audio/video, download and podcast formats. Current available content includes one-on-one audio interviews with theatre directors and playwrights including Des McAnuff, George C. Wolfe, James Lapine, Jose Quintero, Daniel Sullivan and Wendy Wasserstein.
Forthcoming interviews with Robert Wilson, Graciela Daniele and Julie Taymor are also in the works.
In addition to one-on-one interviews and conversation, the Wing will also provide instructional content and panel discussions from stage veterans.
