Fator — whose puppets perform songs in the voices of Tony Bennett, Elvis, Garth Brooks, Guns N' Roses, Etta James, Nat King and Natalie Cole, James Blunt, Gnarls Barkley, Roy Orbison, Styx, The Bee Gees, Brooks & Dunn and Kermit the Frog — will play the Nokia Theatre Aug. 2. Show time is 8 PM. Fator, who considers himself an illusionist with puppets, said in a statement, "I look at myself as a talk show host and the characters are my guests. I can guarantee anyone who comes to my show, within a second or two, will feel that the puppet is the real entity. I love creating life out of wood and felt."

Las Vegas' Mirage Hotel recently announced that Fator signed a five-year $100 million deal that begins in February 2009. Fator will perform 48 weeks a year in The Terry Fator Theatre, which is currently The Danny Gans Theatre. Fator will continue to perform at the Las Vegas Hilton through 2008.

Fator's New York show is produced by AEG Live.

The Nokia Theatre is located in Manhattan at 1515 Broadway at 44th Street. For tickets call (212) 307-7171 or visit www.ticketmaster.com or nokiatheatrenyc.com.
