News Andrew Lippa, Carrie Manolakos, Benj Pasek, Lauren Pritchard, Mary Testa Set for Shaina Taub Songbook Ars Nova will present Uncharted: The Shaina Taub Songbook Dec. 14 at 8 PM.

Directed by Jordan Fein, the evening will feature the talents of Alyse Alan Louis, Etai BenShlomo, Eli Bolin, Mike Brun, Drew Citron, Jacob Colin Cohen, Clinton Curtis, Damon Daunno, Kate Ferber, Armand Hirsch, Leigh Jones, Andrew Lippa, Carrie Manolakos, Molly McAdoo, Grace McLean, Dave Melton, Benj Pasek, Lauren Pritchard, Meagan Reyes, Jean Rohe, Liana Stampur, Jay Stolar, Ali Stroker and Mary Testa. Shaina Taub is a Vermont-raised, New York-based songwriter and performer. She is the recipient of a 2012 Macdowell Fellowship, a 2013 Yaddo Fellowship and is Ars Nova's 2012 Composer-in-Residence. She released her debut record, "What Otters Do," last year and has a regular residency at Rockwood Music Hall. Her original folk opera, The Daughters, has been produced by the Public Theater's Joe's Pub, the Yale Institute of Music Theatre, CAP21 Theatre Company and was featured in NYU's mainstage season this fall. She writes and performs for the hit weekly musical sketch comedy team, Political Subversities. She's currently writing the score for a new musical commissioned by the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival, developing music for Walt Disney Imagineering, as well as a new piece commissioned by Ars Nova.
