Joining DeGarmo onstage will be Tomasso Antico as the Scarecrow, Bradley D. Gale as the Tinman, Michael Bojtos as the Lion, Katie Pfrogner as Glinda, Michael Brown as Milton, Topher Nuccio as the Wizard, Brandon Singleton as Brenda, Lauren Lucksavage as Martha, Brenda Salas as Doo-Wop Girl #1/Melody, Natalie McKnight as Doo-Wop Girl #2/Cadence and Kandace Nunn as Doo-Wop Girl #3/Harmonique with Trisha Kelly, Calli Freyschlag, Elizabeth Jones, Jessalyn Gliebe and Molly Money. Written, directed and choreographed by Todrick D. Hall, the musical is scheduled to launch Feb. 7-8 at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, TX. Other Texas tour dates include Feb. 13-14 at the Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium in Fort Worth, Feb. 17 at the Jefferson Theatre in Beaumont, Feb. 21 at the Hippodrome Theatre in Waco and Feb. 28 at the Selena Auditorium in Corpus Christi.
Diana DeGarmo shot to fame during the 2004 season of "American Idol." She made her Broadway debut as Penny Pingleton in Hairspray and also starred in a tour of Brooklyn the Musical. She had been scheduled to star in the Broadway revival of Godspell, which was later canceled.
