News Anything Goes' Joel Grey Among Honorees at NCTF's Annual Chairman's Awards Gala Tony Award winner Joey Grey will be among those honored at the National Corporate Theatre Fund's Annual Chairman's Awards Gala May 2 at the St. Regis New York hotel.

NCTF chairman James S. Turley will honor Grey as well as Charles Dillingham, managing director of the Center Theatre Group, Los Angeles, and global financial services company BNY Mellon.

The black-tie event, to be hosted by performer Lewis Black, will begin with cocktails at 6:30 PM followed by dinner and presentations at 7:30 PM.

Grey will be presented with the NCTF Theatre Artist Award by director and choreographer of Anything Goes, Kathleen Marshall.

"The achievements of our honorees are signal to the American theatre scene today," said Bruce Whitacre, NCTF executive director, in a statement. "[Grey's] performances time and again show us what it is to be human, to be alive, in the most vital way."

Grey won the Tony Award in 1967 for his performance in Cabaret. He was nominated for his performances in George M!, Goodtime Charley and The Grand Tour. He currently stars as Moonface Martin in the musical Anything Goes at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

NCTF is an association of ten of America’s finest not-for-profit theatres dedicated to increasing the participation of corporations and their employees in supporting theatre across the country and in New York. All net proceeds of the event will be distributed by the NCTF/BNY Mellon Fund for New American Theatre.

Co-chairs of the 2011 Chairman’s Awards Gala are Cisco Systems, Inc., Ernst & Young, RVM and Wells Fargo. The Gala Committee includes Mitchell J. Auslander, John R. Dutt, Richard Fitzburgh, Gretchen Shugart, John Thomopoulos and Isabelle Winkles.
