News Applause Publishes Book of London Theatre Walks An updated and expanded version of "London Theatre Walks," the popular collection of recommended theatrical strolls by Jim De Young and John Miller, will be published by Applause Book on Aug. 8.

The volume features 13 walks, all passing by famous theatres, burial sites, monuments, theatre museums, the former homes of playwrights and actors, theatrical pubs and gathering places and other places of interest. Each excursion is accompanied by a running text, photographs and a map. Among the walks are "Shakespeare and the Globe," which takes you around Bankside, the center of theatrical London in Elizabethan times; "Lincoln's Inn Fields," which passes important site associated with Restoration theatre; "Strolling the Strand," tracing the street that has long been associated with all forms of entertainment; and "Covent Garden Promenade," examining another historic theatre district.

The book runs 272 pages and is priced at $17.95.
