The reading at the Players Club in Manhattan will feature the talents of Jim Brochu, Robin Leslie Brown, Nora Chester, Bradford Cover, Alison Fraser, Gibson Frazier, Jack Koenig, Patrick Page, James Prendergast, Scott Schafer, A.J. Shively, Marianne Tatum and Nick Wyman. Show time is 7 PM.
David Staller, the acclaimed singer-actor who has produced and directed all of the Project Shaw offerings, will continue to do so for the upcoming reading.
The Apple Cart, press notes state, is Shaw’s "1929 farcical comedy of Royals set in the future. King Magnus (Patrick Page) must juggle his rebellious Cabinet (including Jim Brochu, Marianne Tatum, Bradford Cover), his tempestuous mistress (Alison Fraser), his ambitious queen, and even an American ambassador determined to colonize England (Nick Wyman) all on one wild day."
