News Artios Awards to Be Given as Part of Casting Society Benefit in NYC, Nov. 27 The Casting Society of America will host an "evening of unity for the New York entertainment community" on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Caroline's on Broadway. The 2001 Artios Awards, as well as the 2001 NY Apple Award, will be presented in a ceremony beginning at 6 PM. From 5-8 PM, hors d'oeuvres will be served alongside an open bar. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Uniformed Fire Fighters Fund and the Mary Colquhoun Scholarship Fund.

The Casting Society of America will host an "evening of unity for the New York entertainment community" on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Caroline's on Broadway. The 2001 Artios Awards, as well as the 2001 NY Apple Award, will be presented in a ceremony beginning at 6 PM. From 5-8 PM, hors d'oeuvres will be served alongside an open bar. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Uniformed Fire Fighters Fund and the Mary Colquhoun Scholarship Fund.

The recipients of this year's Artios Awards include James Carnahan for The Man Who Came to Dinner, Geoffrey Johnson and Vincent Liff for The Producers, Avy Kaufman for State and Main and Nancy Piccione for Proof. Rosemarie Tichler will be receiving the NY Apple Award.

According to spokesperson Erin Dunn, scheduled guests and presenters include Kristin Chenoweth (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Wallace Shawn, Robert Sean Leonard (The Music Man), Marcia Gay Harden and Stephen Spinella.

The cost of this event, which is open to the public, is $50. Checks should be made payable to C.S.A. c/o C.S.A, 145 W. 28th Street #12F, NY, NY 10001.
