Rondi Reed, who won a 2008 Tony Award for her performance in the dysfunctional family drama, told the press following her Tony win, "[I will] be back to August at some point in time. We've got some irons in the fire about London with the National Theatre and a potential tour, and so hopefully my hat will be in the ring for that."
Playwright Letts won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for the three-and-a-half-hour dark ensemble comedy-drama about three generations of an Oklahoma clan.
Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, August: Osage County "tells the explosively funny tale of the Weston clan, triggered by the recent disappearance of the family patriarch."

In New York August plays the Music Box Theatre.
