Classic Arts News Bank of America Renews Season Sponsorship of Carnegie Hall Bank of America has agreed to be Carnegie Hall's season sponsor for the second consecutive year.
In addition to sponsoring the 2006-07 season as a whole, the financial services giant will also be the exclusive corporate sponsor of Carnegie's Family Concert series and of three additional presentations: a February 9 performance by The New York Pops with vocalist Maureen McGovern; the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra's concert with conductor Daniel Barenboim on March 2; and "Christmas with Ren_e Fleming," a concert by the soprano and the Orchestra of St. Luke's on December 21.

Clive Gillinson, Carnegie Hall's executive and artistic director, said, "We are delighted that Bank of America has renewed its commitment to Carnegie Hall, and we look forward to our continued partnership with great anticipation."

Carnegie's 2006 _2007 season includes over 155 orchestra, chamber and recital performances, plus more than 45 pop, jazz, folk, and world music concerts.
