Next month's Barbados Jazz Festival will feature pianists Ellis Marsalis and Jason Moran, organizers announced.

The festival, returning for its 12th year, runs from January 10 through 16 at parks, clubs, and auditoriums on the Caribbean island.

Marsalis, the father of Wynton and Branford Marsalis, is a longtime fixture on the New Orleans jazz scene. Moran first appeared with saxophonist Greg Osby, and has released four well-received albums of his own.

Other performers in the lineup include Brazilian tenor saxophonist Gato Barbieri, alto saxophonist Kenny Garrett, pop-jazz group the Yellowjackets, and R & B star Alicia Keys.

Previous festivals have included performances by Al Jarreau, Stanley Jordan, Dave Koz, Freddy Cole, and David Sanborn.
