Tony winners Bea Arthur (Mame), Tyne Daly (Gypsy) and Michael Jeter (Grand Hotel) will star Oct. 10 in a benefit concert performance of the Cole Porter-Moss Hart musical Jubilee. The event will take place at NY's Carnegie Hall at 7:30 PM. Gay Men's Health Crisis will be the beneficiary.

In addition to their Tony-winning performances, all three starring performers are know for their television work: Arthur for the sitcoms "Maude" and "The Golden Girls"; Daly for the crime drama "Cagney and Lacey"; and Jeter for the series "Evening Shade." Daly's last NY stage appearance was in Paul Selig's Mystery School Off-Broadway.

Also appearing in Jubilee are Alice Ripley (Side Show, King David, Sunset Boulevard), Sandy Duncan (the Broadway-bound Easter Parade), Bob Paris and New York City Ballet's Damien Woetzel. Stage and film director and choreographer Herbert Ross (The Turning Point, Steel Magnolias) will direct.

Jubilee is about the Royal Family of a country very much like England. They become bored and decide to pose as commoners, leading to a series of wild adventures. Jubilee has not had a major production since it ran for 169 performances at the Imperial Theatre during the 1935-36 season. Its score includes such classic songs as "Just One of Those Things" and "Begin the Beguine."
