News Beautiful: The Carole King Musical Star Jarrod Spector to Offer Solo Show at 54 Below Beautiful: The Carole King Musical star Jarrod Spector will perform a new solo show, A Little Help From My Friends, at 54 Below.

Spector will perform Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, 10 and 17 at 7 PM.

Spector made his Broadway debut in Jersey Boys, playing Frankie Valli for 1,500 performances. His stage credits also include Les Misérables and Hamlet. In Beautiful, he plays songwriter Barry Mann. Spector's screen credits include "Sonnets in the City" and "Ira Sleeps Over."

Here's how 54 Below describes the concert: "This new musical outing traces the legacy of the great male singers whose vocal prowess made them the rock stars of their generations, even before rock was born."

Beautiful concludes its pre-Broadway run in San Francisco, CA, Oct. 20, prior to beginning previews at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on Broadway Nov. 21. The musical officially opens Jan. 12, 2014.
