Peter Askin directs the Weitz work that will begin previews April 5 for a run slated through May 15 while Seret Scott stages West's drama set for a June 6-July 17 run.
Privilege follows two privileged Upper East Side teenagers whose lives are changed when their father is accused of insider trading.
Weitz has co-wrote the screenplay to the films "Antz," "Nutty Professor 2" and "About a Boy" with his brother Chris Weitz (who shared directing credit with him on the latter). He has also directed "American Pie" and his own screenplay for "In Good Company."
No casting has been announced, though Weitz's previous Off-Broadway venture, Roulette attracted Hollywood starlet Anna Paquin so audiences may expect a starry cast. "Law & Order" and Fucking A actress S. Epatha Merkerson is set to star in West's Birdie Blue at the midtown stage next.
Jar the Floor playwright West takes a look at the world through the eyes of her sassy title character who speaks of love, marriage and the passage of time and "tells it — and we mean all of it — like it is," according to show materials.
